Drinking far too much…

January 20, 2008 at 8:54 pm (Drunken Escapades, The Future)

Leads to:

  • Irregular blog postage
  • Not remembering much on nights out
  • Not remembering much the morning after
  • Injuring oneself and, again, not remembering why (although some of it was just aggravated by exercise… woo!)
  • Being unsure of where one stands with ones boyf
  • Excessive use of the third-person singular pronoun ‘one’

However, it has been an awesome two weeks before lessons start up again tomorrow. A bit like Freshers take-two.

Now I need to get back into the swing of things, find somewhere to live next year, conserve the moneys and start thinking a bit more about jobs over the summer.

Otherwise living will actually be a problem next year =/

“Confuzzlement,” Noun:

January 18, 2008 at 2:12 pm (Confusion, Driving, Drunken Escapades, Religion, The Future)

“A state that is often attributed to the mind-set of Roo”

It really is… Websters doesn’t lie =P

So in terms of housing for next year, it’s like a rollercoaster of bonage… meaning one minute all seems well, then next minute it feels like I (or we, counting Cinny) are boned, and then maybe not, etc

Put it this way… Phoenix is incredible, but it comes at a price that I will not be able to afford, even if I worked my ass off all summer. Plus Cin doesn’t want to go there, and I am determined to find a place with her!

But, on the other hand, a house in a house in Park Street may be available with people we know living next door, along with en-suite rooms from a comparatively cheaper cost. I just *hope* we can get there in time =/

———-

In other news, I managed to finish my linguistics, and yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of passing my driving test, hence NO MORE PROBATIONARY PERIOD! *woops*

Celebrating in style, we went to Sports Café, had really slow service (unlike them… and no discount. Pah!), went to Que Pasa (in-ferking-credible!) and then to Syndicate to dance along with people I’ve never seen before in my life and laugh at the really minging ones… not for fun, there was a valid reason behind this! I’m not that much of a bitch =P

We’re also getting visited soon by the TV Licensing enforcement officers. Should be interesting, as a certain flatmate got the license for the front room incorrect, so that if they do happen to notice us using it we’ll be in for a fine. And as if he wants us to pay for the fine equally… quoth the Raven, “WTF?!”

And finallyyyyyyyy:

It made me laugh. Please don’t get all hate-y on my ass ^_^

The Weekend in Bullet Points:

January 14, 2008 at 9:10 am (Drunken Escapades, Health and Fitness, Rants)

  • ‘Crunchie’ at random flats is quite fun… until flatmates get emotional
  • ‘Pub Golf’ is also fun… until 3 plastics ruin it for everyone
  • ‘Dieting’ isn’t as fun but it’s healthy… until you end up getting the munchies after nights out or when you just snack after 11pm =P

And now I’m off to the gym. Before the fire alarm test wakes everyone up.

Short and sweet. Comme moi ^_^

A late one…

January 11, 2008 at 1:23 am (Drunken Escapades, Health and Fitness, Randomness)

Because I’ve been out at the SU bar with the roomies =]

However, I am no-where near as wasted as I was last night… let’s just say that Cinny’s photos and videos of the evening prove to be interesting viewing, especially seeing as everyone looked at them and said, at least once, “I don’t remember doing that” =P

Anyway, aside from my blatant BLATANT alcoholism, I also went to the gym again today and got some French work done! And my Powerball Gyroscopic Glowing Doo-dad arrived today too, so it was all going good…

…and then I found that Phoenix court is gonna cost me more than expected if I live there. Sooooo if I work my ass off over the summer then I might just be able to eat next year.

It’s at times like this I need a lolcat.

So here’s one right now ^_^

Why are the pets I have never *this* cool??!

Christmas has left the building…

January 5, 2008 at 10:45 pm (Driving, Drunken Escapades, Health and Fitness, Uni)

Yup.

It’s gone.

For another 350 or so days until we venture back up to the loft to get the boxes back down and see what’s been leaked on… it’s become a family event =P

I also managed to spend my last full day at home-home (as opposed to Uni-home) doing productive things like sorting out car insurance, packing for tomorrow, and going shopping with my rents to get my food shopping for the first week and a bit paid for me. Yay =]

Anyhoooos, last night proved to me several things:

  1. Funny sounding cocktails are usually the nicer tasting ones (Woo Woo = lush)
  2. Some people never change, and probably never will
  3. Being gay allows you to join in on much raunchier conversation and more goss… so much fun (and also invites to girls-nights-out… hah!) =D

And now I have the urge to dance a lot more. Like crazy. All the time. To lectures, whilst cooking, and even something as insane as dancing in a club.

Insane fool, I know =]

405 tomorrow. Le woo ^_^

So I brought in the New Year…

January 1, 2008 at 7:55 pm (Drunken Escapades, Health and Fitness)

…in a kind of drunk/happy/confused fashion.

Take a bunch of friends, alcohol, a popular night out, a not-so-big High Street and bad eye-sight so that you can’t see the clock correctly. Mix thoroughly until around about midnight, and let the fun flow =D

The pictures on Facebook prove the madness, and I think there must have been about 10 separate countdowns to 2008 in the high street. Nevertheless, we celebrated fashionably… well, as fashionable as you can possibly get in Bridgo: Champagne in the High Street, dancing in the Crown and hugging people you either know like family or have never met before in your life!

And then I ended up watching Monty Python before passing out ^_^

———-

Waking up in Bridgo, Alex and I successfully walked to get breakfast and just as successfully managed to break my healthy regime. Breakfast Sandwiches… oops… So in all honesty, the resolution of healthiness didn’t start until about midday. But I have had my 5 of my 5-a-day thingy (woop!) =]

Christmas is now dying as the decorations are slowly disappearing. I guess it had to go sometime, but it’s just making homelife (more) depressing.

And it’s also my excuse for lack of motivation to exercise.

Or do work.

Alex was right. Resolutions should start on the 2nd. When hangovers don’t exist ¬_¬
